Toyota National Skill Contest

With the aspiration of "Moving Forward", Toyota Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd (TMV) has always paid special attention to continuously improve our operations in general, and the area of after-sales service in particular. To turn this slogan into reality, one of our top priorities for many years is to improve the skills of Toyota service staff. TMV, therefore, has held the annual Toyota National Skill Contest since 1999 for our nationwide network of dealers and TASS (Toyota Authorized Service Station). The contest has injected a dose of healthy competition into the daily work routine of our technicians and service advisors.

Contestants are judged not only on their technical knowledge, but also on their ability to adhere to Toyota 's standard working procedures, emphasizing professional behavior, prudence, swiftness and confidence.

Commenting on the contest, Vice Minister of Education and Training, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nhung said, " Toyota is the only car maker in the country to hold the annual technician skill contest. Despite its internality, the contest would definitely contribute much to the vocational training development in Vietnam ."

Toyota Asian Technician Skill Grand Prix

Toyota Asian Technician Skill Grand Prix first began in 1993, with the aim of improving Toyota technicians' skills in diagnosing and repairing complicated break-downs as well as connecting members of the Toyota family across Asia .

ITMV joined the contest for the first time in 1999 after only 4 years of establishment. Although we didn’t win a prize in the first time, our technicians had accumulated great experience and lessons and later thrived with great successes. The awards that our technicians have won not only are a proof of TMV’s excellent human resource development system but also once again prove the capability of Vietnamese.
