TOYOTA MOTOR VIETNAM LINE-OFF THE 400,000TH VEHICLE

Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) officially line-off the 400,000th vehicle on 27th April 2017. This is an important milestone of TMV’s history of establishment and development which acknowledges the great efforts of TMV’s employees in bringing high quality cars to customers.

 

 

At this line-off ceremony today, Mr. Toru Kinoshita – TMV President, shares: “TMV is a car manufacturer, so for us, how to develop the production and quality management enhancement is very important. Currently, with high-quality products and efforts of all members, TMV has been recognized as one of the leading automobile manufacturers, become the most favorite and beloved brand in Vietnam.”

 

 

TMV’s factory in Vinh Phuc started the production in 1996 with the average volume of only 2 cars/day, up to now, with efforts to increase the production capacity, to improve production procedure and continuously enhance working skills, TMV has increased the production volume up to more than 170 cars/day. The production capacity has been continuously adjusted to satisfy the market’s demand, from 212 cars per day in 1996, the current average capacity has reached over 46,000 units per day. From 1996 to 2015, after 20 years, TMV has lined-off 300,000 vehicles to the market. And after only 2 years, the 400,000th unit is officially manufactured.
