Hanoi, 12^th Oct 2020 – Toyota Motor Vietnam officially announces the total sales volume reaching 6,428 units (including Lexus models) in September, although decreased 13% compared to same period last year but this is the highest sales volume since the beginning of this year. In which, Vios’s sales continued to rank at No. 1 position of the market.

Completely Knocked Down (CKD)

Last month, sales volume of Toyota Vietnam’s CKD models reached 3,961 units. Specifically, Vios reached 2,912 units, increasing 25% compared to the sales of September 2019, keeps on maintained its No. 1 position in Vietnam automobile market.

Corolla Altis this month reached 310 units, Innova reached 239 units and Fortuner had 553 units sold, including 500 CKD models (accounting for 90% of Fortuner’s sales).

On September 17^th, Toyota Vietnam introduced Fortuner 2020 with outstanding improvements to meet the increasing demand of customers for a high-class SUV: Finetune the design, modern utilities, World-class Toyota Safety Sense and added two special editions (Fortuner Legender 2.8L, 4x4; Fortuner Legender 2.4L, 4x2) that bring the total number of Fortuner line up to seven grades.

Completely built-up (CBU)

In September, the total sales volume of Toyota's CBU models reached 2,045 units. Although still in short of supply but the all-new Corolla Cross had sold 1,154 units, getting a lot of attention from customers with outstanding advantages of a pioneering urban SUV, fully equipped with a wide range of innovative technologies and functions such as Hybrid system with self-charging electric technology, Toyota Safety Sense, TNGA, etc.

By the end of September, Toyota Camry’s sales volume reached 378 units and Wigo reached 237 units, Hilux is 217 units and Rush is 198 units.

2. Sales volume of Lexus model in September 2020

In September 2020, sales volume of Lexus is 62 units, accumulated sales reached over 7,000 units.
