Toyota Vietnam sets a new record with over 9,600 cars sold in November 2020

Hanoi, 10^th Dec 2020 – Toyota Motor Vietnam officially announces the total sales volume reaching 9,602 units (including Lexus models) in November, increased 43% compared to same period last year and is the highest sales volume ever of Toyota Vietnam. In which, Vios’s sales continued to rank at number 1 position of the market and Corolla Cross is in the list of best-selling models.

Completely Knocked Down (CKD)

Last month, sales volume of Toyota Vietnam’s CKD models reached 5,698 units. Specifically, Vios reached 3,635 units, increasing 42% compared to the sales of November 2019, keeps on maintained its number 1 position in Vietnam automobile market. Innova this month reached 664 units and Corolla Altis reached 461 units.

Especially, Fortuner had 977 units sold, including 938 CKD models (accounting for 96% of Fortuner’s sales). With outstanding improvements to meet the increasing demand of customers for a high-class SUV: Finetune the design, modern utilities, World-class Toyota Safety Sense and added two Legender special editions, Toyota Fortuner has been well received by customers.

Completely built-up (CBU)

In November, the total sales volume of Toyota's CBU models reached 3,746 units. The all-new Corolla Cross had sold 1,537 units, continued to maintain sales volume of over 1,500 units per month though still in short of supply. Corolla Cross is getting a lot of attention from customers with outstanding advantages of a pioneering urban SUV, fully equipped with a wide range of innovative technologies and functions such as Hybrid system with self-charging electric technology, Toyota Safety Sense, TNGA, etc.

After announced the new selling price in September, Toyota Rush establishes a stable position in the compact SUV segment, continues to growth with sales volume reaching 497 units, up 83% over the same period in 2019. From Nov 16th to Dec 31st, 2020 customers who buy Toyota Rush are offered with 02 years Toyota insurance worth up to 16 million VND.

With the launching of new version with significant improvements of design, safety, performance, convenience and a very appropriate price, Hilux also continued to achieve new sales record with 422 units sold in November, increased 43% compared to the same period in 2019.

In addition, by the end of November, Toyota Camry’s sales volume reached 637 units, Wigo reached 269 units and Yaris is 221 units.

With sales volume continuously growth and set a new record with over 9,600 units sold in November, it proved the continued trust and love of customers for Toyota.
