February 23^rd, 2021, Hanoi, Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) officially introduces the Vios 2021 - "Trend Setter" with a revamped design and an additional special sport version, promises a new product generation for young people and families. New Vios will be officially available at Toyota dealers nationwide from February 23^rd, 2021.

Ever since its first appearance in 2003, Vios has continuously maintained the No. 1 position in the market with accumulated sales reaching 180,000 vehicles, partially contributed to the development of Vietnam automobile market & industry. In 2020, despite the market difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, this model continues to conquer new milestones and achieve the monthly sales record with more than 4,000 vehicles. Achieving that success, Vios has affirmed to gain the trust and love of Vietnamese customers thanks to its values as QDR ​& Value-for-money, along with high quality service at 71 dealers in 35 provinces nationwide. Besides, Vios also conquered customers by anticipating their needs for a compact mid-size sedan that is easy- driving in the city, full of technologies and utilities to bring exciting experiences for users. 

With the desire to bring a model to meet the increasingly diverse needs of customers, especially young customers and families, besides the ability to operate smoothly, Vios 2021 aims at a youthful design, suitable for modern urban lifestyle and create individual style for owners.

1. Change to youthful design, standardized the Led system on all versions and upgrade safety features

- Vios 2021 owned an impressed front view with the new trapezoidal grille, combined with revamped front bumper gives the strong look.  Led headlamps and foglamps increase the aesthetics, economic & lighting efficiency, provide better visibility, and be safer when traveling at night  on Vios GR-S and Vios G. Led daytime running lights were designed long backward creating a highlight at the front of the car. The new design of the fog lamp was deeply engraved, creating a youthful personality and style. At the side view, the most significant change in Vios 2021 is 15’’ alloy wheel with new design combining black and glossy steel created sharp & modern impression.

- In addition, all versions are supplemented and upgraded with some safety and convenient  features such as the  EBS on Vios GR-S, G & E CVT, auto-lock doors on Vios G, follow-me-home light, auto light control and immobilizer on Vios E CVT, back sensors on Vios E MT support drivers when moving back in a narrow space.

2. GRS sport version is firstly introduced to Vietnamese market

Toyota Gazoo Racing (or Toyota GR/TGR) is a motorsport/performance brand of the Japanese automaker Toyota. In Vietnam, GR was first introduced as Vios 2021 GR-S version with distinctive characteristics, attracts young customers who love sporty and stylist cars. In Asia, Vietnam is the second market to introduce Vios GR-S after Malaysia in December 2020.

- Design: Vios GR-S looks distinctive of the body kit and GR-S symbols, honeycomb formed grille with gloss coating, black outer mirrors and GR-S sport alloy combined with rear spoiler creating a strong impression.

- Sporty interior: Optitron meter cluster with red line makes a difference and more sporty, GRS logo on start/stop engine button,  gear lever coated by leather with GR-S red stitching, all 5 seats covered by leather with black tones and red stitching along with GRS logo on headrest, sporty seats closely hugging driver & passenger’s back; Paddle shifters on the steering wheel (when gear lever in position “M”) helps customers to be proactive and easy to manipulate when shifting gears and creates excitement when driving.

- Driving exhilaration: Vios 2021 GR-S continues to use 2NR-FE engine 1.5L for a max power of 107 hp at 6,000 rpm and max torque of 140 Nm at 4200 rev / min.  There are 2 drive modes as Eco/ Sports and CVT transmission with 10 levels help maintain engine higher rpm, create a sense of sporty driving.

3. An attractive loan package and KeyForKey program

3.1. Attractive financial loan package, with initial payment from only 95 million VND and monthly payment from only 5.2 million VND
