Vietnam Robot Contest

Vietnam Robot Contest

Accompanying Robocon Vietnam from the beginning since 2002, TMV has aimed to create more opportunities for the students to apply the learned knowledge into reality as well as develop and execute their creative ideas in the field of science and technology, by which brings up the creation desire of the young generation of Vietnamese engineers who are responsible for developing advanced and modern technologies, enhancing the production capacity, and getting ready to face with new challenges in the future.

In the past 12 years, The Vietnam Robot Contest under the sponsorship of Toyota Vietnam has made a special appeal to students, and young people who love technology. It has been shown clearly through the enthusiastic responses from the young. From 25 teams in 2002, now in 2014, the contest attracted nearly 300 teams from colleges and universities across the country. So far, Vietnam is honored to be the country that won three-time championships of The International Robocon Contest.

As a part of the program, since 2010, a technological exhibition has been organized with many practical automatic products that have potentially high applications in t reallife. Especially, since 2011, the organization board has held Robocon Open alongside Robocon aiming at high school students - potential candidates of Robocon in the future. Atteding Robocon Open, students will be given instructions to assemble a complete robot from a Robot kit, helping them to gain more basic knowledge of computer science and physics, develop logical thinking skill and creativeness as well as cultivating collaboration and teamwork skills.
