Therefore, with the desire of sustainable development in harmony with Vietnam and the Vietnamese, Toyota Motor Vietnam not only actively contributes to the society in various fields but also focuses on improving traffic safety education for the children - the future generation, to build prosperity for the country. Through our desire and efforts to contribute to the field of traffic safety, Toyota Motor Vietnam hopes to join hands in hands laying the foundation for a safer future of Vietnam.

Toyota And I learn Traffic Safety Program

Aiming at improving the traffic safety awareness and skills for primary pupils in all schools nationwide, TMV in cooperation with the Ministry of Education & Training and the National Traffic Safety have organized the Traffic Safety Education Program (TSEP) since the school year of 2005-2006. This is one among 4 main activities within the framework of TVF.

Writing About Traffic Safety Contest

In 2002 and 2003, Toyota Motor Vietnam collaborated with the National Traffic Safety Committee to organize “Traffic Safety Writing Contest” for pupils to raise awareness supporting and encouraging the habit to obey the traffic laws. The Contest attracted many participants from different sectors, ages and occupations, ranging from directors, students, engineers, journalists and to retired people across the country.

Toyota safe driving training program

With the support of Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC), Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) implements the “Toyota Safe Driving Training Program” with the aim of equipping key officers of traffic management agencies in Vietnam - the Road and Railway Traffic Police Department – Ministry of Public Security and TMV’s key instructors with Toyota-standard safety driving knowledge and skills. This program is a long-term program of TMV which includes many phases and lasts as of 2017. The first phase of the program consists of 2 training courses for 8 trainees (including 3 traffic police instructors from the Road and Railway Traffic Police Department – Ministry of Public Security and 5 TMV instructors) under the instruction of leading chief instructor Mr. Toshio Kanno from TMC – who has 33 years of working experience as a test driver for Toyota. The first training course was successfully carried out during 5th – 7th Aug, 2014, covering topics such as: inspection of vehicle structure before driving, proper driving posture, and how to more accurately gauge vehicles distance... The second training course will be conducted in Jan 2015 for evaluation, examination and advanced supplementation as well as reorientation of training contents from the first training course. As plan, in the coming time, this knowledge and skills will be widely popularized to employees of TMV, dealers, traffic police officers, then customers and the public in order to contribute to building a safer traffic society for Vietnam.
