2004 is considered an outstanding point in Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) with the operation of ToyotaAuto-PartsExportCenter from July 2004. With this Center, TMV has demonstrated efforts to contribute to the domestic industry by the expansion of export field to countries in the global network of Toyota.

Export products of TMV include Antenna assy, ERG valves, Accelerator Pedal Module which are exported to 13 areas of 10 countries under the Toyota global IMV project including: Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Maylaysia, India, Argentina, South Africa, Venezuela, Pakistan, and Taiwan Besides using for IMV vehicles, these products are utilized for Yaris, Vios, Corolla và Hiace model.

After nearly five years of operation, Toyota Auto-partsExportCenter has many remarkable achievements. The annual export turnover of TMV achieves 20 US-million/year averagely and the total of export value to more than 110 US-million. For these efforts, TMV has received the award of “ Export Excellence” during consecutively 4 years.

It can be said that ToyotaAuto-partsExportCenter is a great contribution of TMV in excuting development strategy of Vietnam automobile industry, increasing localization ratio and open new period of joining into Toyota global parts suppliers.
